Frozen rape damage prevention method

There are many reasons for the reduction of rapeseed production. Frost damage is also one of the important reasons for the reduction of rapeseed production. The snow disaster that caused a rare occurrence in the past 50 years in 2007 caused heavy losses and cut production by nearly one-third. Therefore, it is an important task for rapeseed management to grasp the prevention and control of rapeseed frost damage, and it is an important measure to ensure the stable production and high yield of rapeseed.

Frozen rape can be divided into winter and spring frozen. Winter frost is the cold injury suffered before the beginning of spring, and the spring frost is the frost damage suffered after the beginning of spring.

The reasons and performance of rapeseed freeze injury are as follows: First, the roots are frozen, that is, sowing and transplanting too late, coupled with extensive farming management, thin seedlings, undeveloped roots, shallow into the soil, when the soil moisture is frozen, the soil rises and cracks, Caused the root system to be torn open and exposed to cold wind and sunlight, resulting in the death of rape seedlings.

The second is that the leaves are frozen, that is, when the temperature drops to -3°C to -5°C, the water in the cells and the intercellular spaces of the leaves freeze, causing the leaves to suffer freezing injury. If the temperature suddenly drops to -7°C to -8°C and then suddenly rises, the damage to the leaf tissue becomes more severe. The frozen leaf cells lose water and the leaves appear as patches of hot water, then turn yellow and white. Dry.

The third is that the buds are frozen, that is, the cold resistance of rape after entering the bud stage is weakened. As long as there is a low temperature below 0°C, it is harmed by freezing damage. However, only a few plants usually twitch and blossom during the wintering period, and the effect of freezing injury is not significant. After the beginning of spring, rapeseeds generally suffer from cold weather such as rain, snow, and other cold weather (cold winter). The freezing loss is even more serious. Therefore, spring freezing is more important than winter freezing.

Take the following preventive measures for the above reasons.

The first is to use rapeseed varieties with strong cold resistance before sowing and sowing at the right time, and cultivate strong seedlings before winter to improve cold resistance.

The second is to take measures to keep warm and improve the cold resistance of rapeseed itself during the wintering period: (1) Reapply wax fertilizer. The waxy wax has a dual role: one for winter insulation and resistance to cold, and the other for the spring season. It is used for the winter and spring, and the seedlings are used. Therefore, there is a saying that "a thousand pouring, not as good as a waxing one." Illustrates the important role of fertilizer. Wax fertilizer should be dominated by cow dung, biogas fertilizer, earth miscellaneous fertilizer and compost, with heat absorption and heat insulation. (2) cultivating earth. Rapeseed cultivation in recent years is generally not carried out by cultivating cultivator soil, but this measure is particularly important in the case of serious frost damage. The cultivator was carried out before the closure of the line, and the exposed root neck and wax fertilizer were cultivated into the soil.

The third is clear drain drainage, which can be combined with cultivating soil, and timely clearing the three ditch, eliminating the accumulation of water, can reduce the freezing damage.

Goji Berry ( [Goji" means [happy") , also called wolfberry, has been used for thousands of years by herbalists in China to protect the liver, help eyesight, boost immune function, improve circulation, and promote longevity and overall well being. It has only recently gained popularity in the west, it has become so polar, in fact, the Time Magazine recently named the Goji berry as [super-fruit" of the year. A big reason why Goji berries have quickly become a favorite nutritional supplement is that its impressive list of ingredients. The Goji berry, also called the wolfberry, is a bright purplish red or purple red berry that comes from a shrub that is native to China. In Asia, goji berries have been eaten for generation in the hope of living longer.
