It is not good if the temperature of the eggs is too high or too low. If the temperature is higher than 24°C, the embryo will begin to develop, which will cause the chick embryo to age and die. The number of stillbirths will increase at the time of hatching. Below 5°C, when the eggs are frozen, they will lose their ability to hatch. The best temperature for keeping eggs is 10°C-15°C.

There are many pores on the eggshell suitable for humidity. During storage, the moisture in the eggs continuously evaporates through the pores. In order to reduce the loss of moisture in the egg, the egg storage room must maintain a certain humidity. The optimum relative humidity of the egg storage room is 70%-80%, and the humidity is too high to make mold breeding, which is not conducive to egg storage.

During regular preservation of egg-laying eggs, if the pendulum is improperly placed or left unmoved, prolonged exposure to egg yolks, blastulas, and eggshells may occur, resulting in premature embryonic death. To prevent this from happening, the blunt end of the egg should be placed downwards. In this way, the egg yolk can be located in the center of the egg. When the storage time is longer (more than 6-7 days), turn the eggs once a day to prevent the embryos from sticking and maintain a normal hatching rate.

Clean environment, air fresh egg storage room and egg trays, egg racks, etc. to be clean, egg trays should have gaps, do not put the eggs in airtight boxes, storage of indoor air must be kept fresh.

After the eggs are produced, the surface of the eggshell is covered with a layer of glial membrane covering the pores of the shells, which not only prevents the evaporation of water, but also prevents bacteria and other microorganisms from entering the eggs through the pores of the eggshell and turning into bad eggs. Washing with water will destroy the glial membrane on the shell and reduce the quality of the eggs.
