Common terms in aquatic products

1. GMP

GMP is an abbreviation for Good Manufacturing Practice For Drugs. Veterinary Drug GMP is an excellent standard for the production of veterinary drugs. It includes personnel, factory buildings, construction and equipment hygiene, quality, packaging, and various types of software. The use of scientific and reasonable and standardized conditions and methods to ensure the production of a complete set of scientific and management system of good veterinary drugs. The Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China expressly stipulates that before 2005, the national veterinary drug (including fishery medicine) production industry must meet GMP standards.

2. Available chlorine

The available chlorine is the proportion of the chlorine contained in the chloride that can act as an oxidizing agent. 3. Viruses

Viral particles are tiny and contain one type of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA), which generally must be magnified thousands of times to tens of thousands of times using an electron microscope. It is a type of non-cellular microorganism that can grow and reproduce only in living cells. Since it is parasitized in host cells, there is no ideal treatment so far, and prevention is mainly performed.

4. Facilities fishery

Facility fishery is an intensive high-density culture industry developed in the middle of the 20th century. It integrates modern engineering, electromechanical, biological, environmental protection, feed science, and other disciplines. It uses all kinds of latest scientific and technological means to create a suitable land or sea. The good water and environmental conditions for fish growth and reproduction put the fish under artificial control and use scientific intensive techniques to achieve stable and high yields of fish throughout the year. Its industrial form is mainly: factory culture, large-scale water circulation breeding, net cage (net fence, net bar) and other network raising. Because it is based on environmental protection, it closely combines industry and the environment and therefore has broad prospects for development.

5. Production license

The period of validity is 5 years. Within 6 months before the expiration of the period, the original license must be re-applied, and the production license must be used for the annual inspection system. The production license shall include such items as the license number, company name, legal representative, person in charge of the company, type of company, registered address, production address, production scope, issuing authority, date of issuance, and expiration date. An enterprise must not produce products outside the scope of the license and stop the production and sales of the product immediately after the production license is revoked.

6. Production batch number

It is a set of numbers or letters plus numbers used to identify "batch." It usually consists of two digits of the year, month, and day of fishery drug production, but there are exceptions. The validity period is calculated from the date of production (based on the production lot number), so it can be known from the lot number whether the fishery medicines purchased are within the effective period.

7. Approval number

There must be an approval document number issued by the Ministry of Agriculture or the provincial animal husbandry and veterinary administrative department on the packaging of fishery medicines. The import veterinary medicine is issued by the Ministry of Agriculture for the Registration License for Imported Veterinary Drugs. And must be in accordance with the uniform numbering format stipulated by the Ministry of Agriculture: Veterinary Drugs Word (Year No. × ×) × × Drug Factory Number × × Type No. Do not use the document number or other number to replace the imitation approval number.

The validity period of the fishery drug approval number is 5 years. Within 6 months before the expiration, the fishery drug manufacturer shall go through the formalities of re-registration with the original examination and approval authority. After the expiry date, the original fishery drug approval number will be set aside on its own, and the fishery medicine production enterprise may not continue to produce or operate the original product number.

8. Organics

Aquatic organisms have many types and quantities of organic matter, but generally refer to non-living substances. They are produced by the excretion of aquatic organisms after feeding and biological dead, and are suspended, colloidally and dissolved in water. In water, the content of dissolved organic matter accounts for an absolute majority. Its main components are esters, proteins, amino acids, fatty acids and humic acids.
