Breeding chickens

The laying hens are usually raised from 7 weeks to 18 weeks or 20 weeks of age. This period is the time when broiler chickens have a relatively strong growth and development. Besides the congenital genetic factors of broiler chickens, the rearing methods of broiler chickens are related to sexual maturation. The sooner or later, the health of body condition plays a decisive role.

There are usually three kinds of rearing methods for broiler chickens: ground level raising, online raising and cage raising. Regardless of the type, broiler houses for rearing chickens must be strictly sterilized and sanitized before entering the chickens. At least 15 days of free time, then transfer to broiler chickens. The purpose is to make the chickens in the house free of chickens as a host and they will naturally disappear.

1 Ground level raising

Ground-breeding broiler equipment is simple and can reduce investment. The ground is to be covered with clean grass, with a thickness of 10 cm. Straw, sawdust or peat can be used. There are two ways to use the bedding: First, change the fresh bedding regularly, once a week. The second is to raise chickens with thick mat grass to raise chickens. The method is not to change the mats. Add new litter twice a week to gradually thicken the mat grass until the rearing of the chickens into chickens. The advantage of this method is that it saves labor and is easy to manage. Chicken manure beneath the thick layer of grass can be converted into B vitamins and can be eaten by chickens.

Part. This method also has drawbacks. The chickens directly touch the grass and feces. They have poor sanitation and are vulnerable to chicken disease.

In ground-level henhouses, perches can also be set up, 60 cm from the ground, nailed with 44 cm wood strips, with a spacing of 16 cm, so that the bred chicken can spend the night on a perch, not directly touching the ground. Clean the ground every day and remove chicken droppings. Feed troughs and drinking fountains should be prepared in accordance with the standards raised on the Internet and placed evenly in the chicken house to facilitate broiler feeding and drinking.

2 Net raise

In a broiler house, steel nets or spot-welding wire meshes are placed about 80 cm above the ground and broilers are reared on the web. Two to four automatic feeding mangers are placed on the net and can be supplied by chain, plug or spring type machinery. Float box type automatic water supply tanks are installed on both sides of the hen house, or Plasson bell type automatic drinkers are installed. Online chicken feeding allows chicken droppings to fall under the net. Chickens do not come into contact with faeces and reduce infection and spread of disease. Under the net, excrement was cleaned up after the bred chickens were transferred. The broiler chickens raised on the Internet must pay attention to two points: First, the rearing density must not be too large, raising 8 to 10 eggs per square meter. The density is too high, affecting feeding and growth. Second, the feeding trough and drinking water equipment must be sufficient. Each broiler chicken must have a 5 cm feed slot and a 2 cm drinking water position. Feeding ensures that the chickens eat and drink at the same time. Insufficient supply tanks and sinks will cause birds to snatch food and grab water. Unequal drinking of broilers will lead to uneven development. The stronger the stronger ones will be, the weaker the weaker ones will be and the polarization will affect the future production of eggs.

3 Cage raising

The best way to raise bred chickens is cage culture. The bred cages are fully stepped, semi-stepped, and stacked cages. Cage-breeding chickens have a high breeding density and a high utilization rate. Generally, 12 to 20 cages per cage are used. Each cage can contain 120 to 140 eggs. Each chicken occupies approximately 280 to 320 cm of cage area. Chickens can occupy 3 to 5 cm slots and can be fed

At the same time, there are sufficient slots for eating and drinking. Since it is a fully stepped or semi-stepped cage, the cage is well-ventilated. However, ventilation should be enhanced to keep the air fresh. The feces of chickens raised in cages can directly fall into the dunghills. After the chickens have been transferred, the chickens can be collected and excreted. Breeding broilers should be formulated according to their nutritional needs.
