At the same time, whitefly also secretes a large amount of honeydew, contaminates the leaves and fruits, and not only affects the photosynthesis but also often causes the occurrence of the disease. Therefore, we must strengthen the control of whitefly.

1. Cryopreserved whitefly adults and larvae. The use of Yanqiu, cold winter, early spring dumping time, remove the shed debris inside the shed, uncover the plastic film, use the low temperature below 0 °C frozen for 5 days, frozen shed indoor whitefly adult and larvae.

2. Use insect nets. In the greenhouse vegetable production process, as long as the temperature outside the shed is also suitable for survival of whiteflies, insecticide prevention nets should be added to prevent whitefly from entering the shed.

3. Use yellow traps to kill. Whitefly has strong tropism toward yellow, yellow traps can be trapped and killed in sheds. Place 30 pieces per acre and place them between the rows to make them equal to plant height.

4. Use silver gray film to repel. Use 8 kg of silver-gray film per acre to cover the film and repel whitefly.

5. The agent smokes. With appropriate amount of sawdust per acre, it adsorbs 80% of dichlorvos EC 300-400 grams, apportions them into 15-20 piles, ignites with dark fire, smokes at night, and closes the greenhouse when smoked, generally smokes and kills 2 or 3 times, every 7 ~ 1 day.

6. Reasonable intercropping to avoid mixing cucumbers, tomatoes and beans. Avoid vegetables, such as cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, beans, etc., that are severely pollinated in the vicinity of the greenhouse. Priority should be given to the cultivation of cruciferous vegetables that do not prefer to eat whitefly, in order to reduce the source of insects. In the first place of the greenhouse, it is best to plant low temperature resistant vegetables such as celery, rapeseed, leeks, boiled vegetables and parsley that do not like to eat whitefly, and reduce the planting area of ​​cucumbers and tomatoes.
