Soil in greenhouses to prevent soil disorders

Compared with open field cultivation, greenhouse vegetables have more stringent requirements on the quality and quantity of fertilizers. Improper fertilization may cause soil salinization, acidification, and malnutrition of nutrients. For soil barriers in vegetable greenhouses, the following measures should be taken in fertilizing techniques:

1. The application of organic fertilizers, in particular the application of coarser manure with more fiber, provides comprehensive nutrition for the growth of vegetables, enhances the buffer capacity of soil nutrients, prevents the accumulation of salt, and delays the process of soil salinization.

2. After the vegetables are harvested, the soil is deeply ploughed and the topsoil rich in salts is turned into the lower layer, and the lower layer of soil containing less salt is turned to the upper layer to reduce salt damage.

3. Remove the film by replacing the voids and flooding the surface with salt and water to flood the soil with salt.

4. Vigorously promote formula fertilization. According to soil nutrient content status, vegetable production level and fertilizer demand rule, reasonable application of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace element fertilizer can not only coordinate soil nutrient balance, but also reduce soil salinization and acidification.

5. Deep basal fertilizer, top dressing limit. The basal fertilizer is applied to the topsoil by ploughing so as not to increase the salt content. Fertilizer topdressing should be done as much as possible.

6. Strongly promote root dressing. Use of topdressing for roots does not increase soil salinization and acidification, but also provides nutrients for vegetable growth.
