According to the requirements of Henan Province, public medical institutions above the county (city) level in the province must participate in medical liability insurance and encourage the participation of other types of medical institutions at all levels. The health administrative department at or above the county level shall regard the implementation of medical liability insurance as an important assessment of medical institutions.

Henan Province will, in accordance with the relevant provisions of government procurement, adopt a bidding method to uniformly determine the province's medical liability insurance underwriting company, and explicitly require medical institutions to bear the premiums, but may not increase the current charging standards or disguisedly increase patients by participating in medical liability insurance. burden.
