Winter potato potato mixed storage

In winter, many farmers have the habit of mixing sweet potatoes with potatoes. In fact, this practice is unscientific.

Sweet potato is too cold to be cold and can be stored for a long time in the range of 12°C to 15°C. Below 9°C, it will cause frost damage, resulting in decay or hardening. The storage temperature of potatoes is lower than that of sweet potatoes, and the temperature is high and perishable. Seed storage temperature should be controlled at 1 °C to 5 °C, up to 7 °C, below 0 °C is susceptible to freezing rot. Temperatures higher than 5 °C, prone to skin shrinkage, especially after the dormant buds in the eyes of tuber buds began to sprout, tubers above 12 °C will be a lot of budding. Once budding, a toxin named solanine is produced around its buds, which is harmful to humans and animals. Therefore, we must dig out the flesh around the buds to eat (when the potato shoots become dark and serious, throw them away). When edible potatoes are stored in the range of 10°C to 15°C, the starch content remains stable, and the storage time should not be too long, up to two months at most. Therefore, sweet potatoes and potatoes should be stored separately.
