It should be noted that different crops have different concentrations of different fertilizers. Taking urea as an example, the appropriate spraying concentration on rice and other gramineous crops is 1.5% to 2%, and the suitable concentration on sweet potato, potato and peanut is 0.4% to 0.8%.

Third, the time should be suitable for the amount of nutrients the leaves absorb and the time when the fertilizer solution wets the leaves. The longer the moisturizing time, the more nutrients the leaves absorb and the better the effect. Under normal circumstances, it is appropriate to keep the wet time of the leaves in 30-60 minutes. Therefore, the most favorable time for foliar fertilization is in the windless evening. It is not suitable for foliar fertilization in the rainy days, before the rain, or in the morning with dew; if rain falls within 3 hours after fertilization on leaves, it must be supplemented after sunny days. Fourth, when spray is applied to fertilize evenly, both positive and negative sides of the leaves must be sprayed. It is required that the droplets be small and evenly sprayed. In particular, attention should be paid to the backside of the upper leaves and leaves where the vigorous crops are sprayed. Because the new leaves absorb the nutrients faster than the old leaves and the front, the absorption capacity is strong. For crops with thicker leaves on the front of the blade than on the back, more attention should be paid to the back of the spraying blade for absorption.

Five, the number of crops can not be less than the general concentration of fertilizer on the foliar, each absorption is also very small. Therefore, the frequency of foliar application should not be less than twice. For those nutrients (iron, boron, calcium, phosphorus, etc.) that have little or no mobility in the crop, more attention should be paid to increasing the number of sprays.

Sixthly, it is appropriate to mix two or more types of foliar fertilizers properly, which can save spraying time and labor, and its effect of increasing production will be more significant. However, there must be no adverse reactions or no reduction in fertilizer efficiency after the mixed foliar fertilizers are used. Otherwise, they will not only fail to achieve the purpose of mixed use, but also cause fertilizer damage.
