How to prevent spring sowing peanuts

Peanuts are often badly sown before emergence after sowing, and the severe rotting rate is as high as 20%, resulting in varying degrees of deficient seedlings.

Rotten species: poor seed quality or improper storage, storage period is too long; low-lying terrain, soil viscosity, poor texture, high soil moisture content, long seed emergence time; soil preparation is not true, affecting the seed of water absorption, weak seedlings; The seeds are not selected, the size is uneven, the seeding is not fine or varies in depth, resulting in uneven seedlings or lack of seedlings and ridges; the continuous cropping does not collapse, the seedling stage disease is serious, resulting in lack of seedlings and ridges; the application of organic fertilizer is not fully decomposed Or fertilizer concentration is too high, resulting in fertilizer damage, affecting the emergence; long duration of low temperature, causing germination and seedling slow and bad species.

Preventive measures: (a) Fine selection. The new peanut seeds were selected and harvested, and the seeds were harvested in proper time and dried in time so as to be scientifically stored. Before planting, seeds are sun-dried, accelerate the metabolism of peanuts, increase seed penetration, and increase seed water absorption capacity. The seeds were peeled 1–3 days before sowing, and seeds with no damage or radicle germination were sown. (b) Chemical seed dressing. Use seed dressing with 0.1% of 50% thiophanate-methyl or 50% carbendazim WP to prevent seedling disease. 50% phoxim-emulsifiable oil with a seed weight of 0.2% can also be used to control underground pests and bird and rat damage. (c) Fine sowing. Seed depth of 4 to 6 cm, to avoid seed and fertilizer contact. Covering with mulching film, the ground temperature can be increased by 2 ~ 3 °C, after sowing seeds germination, seedlings quickly, can reduce the incidence.
